Brief History and Description of the Company
Curtin Foodservice Equipment Pty Ltd was established as Curtin (SA) Pty Ltd on 8 June 1989 at its previous address, 6 - 10 Lamont Street, Croydon Park SA 5008. The Company's name was changed in late 2005 to its present name. This name more aptly describes the nature of the Company's business activities.
On 1 October 2010 the company was acquired by Climate Technologies Pty Ltd, a member of the Celi Group. On 15 April 2011 the company moved to factory, warehouse and office premises at 26 Nylex avenue, Salisbury, SA, 5108. These premises are located within the Climate Technologies industrial estate.
Curtin Foodservice Equipment Pty Ltd, or Curtin (SA) Pty Ltd as it was formerly named, has been in the food service equipment business since the Company's establishment in 1989. Most of the management and staff have worked in this field of activity for many years, during which they have accumulated extensive knowledge, experience and valuable contacts in the industry. The Company has a long list of present and past customers who have had their food service equipment and their stainless steel equipment needs successfully fulfilled as a result of the dedicated and efficient efforts of the Company's competent personnel.
The Company's business has been conducted by two separate operating divisions since the Stainless Steel Fabrication division commenced at Croydon Park in 1996. The Food Service Equipment division, as the name implies, supplies food service equipment requirements of hotels, restaurants, cafes, clubs, hospitals, aged care institutions, schools etc. The stainless steel fabrication division manufactures a wide range of stainless steel products including benches, sinks, trolleys, refrigerators, bain maries, exhaust canopies, hot cupboards and hand rails.
Through long term alliances with some of the world's leading food service equipment manufacturers the food service equipment division markets a wide range of high quality equipment with well known brand names including the following:
